New Year at Terrazas

This is the first year I've spent New Year's Eve at Terrazas (I just realized we were at Fuego One last year, not here). It's quiet and not too polluted, very comfy. All in all, it was a very relaxing 8 days (25 December to 1 January). This was the first time we spent it at the house, and we also had the house blessed during that stay.

Everything was great except that the first 3 to 4 days there were spent in bed, trying to nurse myself back to health (including Christmas Day). The nasty cold virus that I contracted some time between my birthday and Christmas really took its toll... I wasn't able to taste our delicious Christmas Eve dinner!!!! Luckily we were armed with a lot of Pei Pa Koa, tissue, juice, Vicks Vaporizer, and a lot of fresh air, so I'm sure my recovery period was decreased significantly. :P

Is Dom Perignon an acquired taste? Because I tried it for the first time, and it didn't taste good at all. Yuck.

Last night I finally got to walk along Bonifacio High Street (Is it really called the "Serendra Mall"?) and see the Krispy Kreme store. Didn't feel compelled to get myself a doughnut though, because I was absolutely stuffed.

I'm absolutely looking forward to 2007. I have a really good feeling about this year, for some strange reason.
