Come join the magic!

Oooh, we LOVED our stay at the HK Disneyland Hotel. Super nice. I felt like I was on Lifestyles of The Rich and Famous. LOL. It had this old-style feel to it, and there were hidden images of Mickey and other Disney characters on the carpets, mirrors, wallpaper, doors, etc.

Breakfast buffet with the Disney characters was also part of the prize package. THANK YOU, VISA! Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto waltzed around our tables and communicated via sign language. We took a whole lot of pictures with them and my niece was even able to get autographs from Mickey and Minnie.

I've heard a lot of people complain about Disneyland HK, but I don't think you should compare it with the parks in other locations. The feel of this park was very different, and I felt that the cartoons really came alive here given the number of live performances.

Tip: Make sure you are able to watch all the shows to really make the trip worth it. It's easy to squeeze the rides around the show-watching schedule since there aren't too many rides anyway. Best ride is Space Mountain, of course. And the Mad Hatter's Teacups are way fun when you spin them so fast till you feel kinda sick to your stomach. :D
